Uncertain times

With lockdown slowly easing, it appears the uncertainty will continue for some time. From a work perspective, I have continued throughout the lockdown but the practice of teaching is very different. It remains to be seen how September will be. The filmmaking has been slowed for sure. I saw a cut of Will Whiting’s film earlier this month and we did some tightening up in the edit. I hope to have an attempt at scoring that film! If anything, my music making has actually improved in this period.

Editing with Will

Elsewhere, I continue to work on a couple of scripts. The 72 Project was online throughout all of June, which for those who read this blog regularly (that’s probably no-one), means that I have finally fulfilled my promise to put The Confusion of Tongues into the wider world. Only six years after we filmed it!!! I had a chat with Elliot Grove from Raindance at the start of the month as a kind of reflection on the project. I finally have some sense of closure.
