The month had its ups and downs. The downs are fairly mundane and not really worth sharing. Some good highlights include: my step-mum has been trying to move house for almost a year and it has finally gone through after a really bumpy exchange, I worked on a collaboration between staff and students between UCA and UAL on a virtual production project, Bournemouth qualified for European football. It’s been a challenge maintaining habits lately. Some have been quite easy, like writing, but others have been struggling, like music and watching films. Like I said, up and down. My hope is that the summer will be better, especially once the house move actually happens and all the chaos and logistics of house selling can end. Although next month the World Cup starts, so watching films may be difficult for a while.
The flavour of the month has been short films, some about Bournemouth while others are international, and some graphic novels. I go through phases of loving graphic novels, and harbour a desire to make one at some point, even with my crap artistic ability.
