This time of year cheers me up when it stays dry. The longer days, but also the colour. I find it fascinating how it literally changes from one day to the next.
This time last year was professionally uncertain. This year it is personally uncertain, but generally I think the outlook is positive. Hard when there are wars and lots of wider uncertainty all around. I’m convinced that the longer days and more light influence my mood in significant ways.
I’ve managed to keep up momentum with some new music and made videos for some old music. I haven’t released the old music yet, so it is old to me but new to everyone else. I decided not to rush and publish it this time. I think I will probably publish them both around the same time as they are similarly linked in process.
The hope is to have a creative summer in some shape or form. Not going to jinx it. Just keep the momentum going.
