It seems a bit weird bundling all of these films together into one pile on the basis of length, especially as their genres vary and they aren’t linked thematically in anyway. However, these projects live here for the sake of a tidy website.
I have not been too keen on making short films. This is for no other reason than I rarely watch them beyond my job as a lecturer. I find them quite hard to make and quite a lot of effort. I think most of these are relatively experimental, exploring techniques or methods that I’ll hope to use on other projects in future. Nightshift influenced Saharan Diary for example, and Heaven Sent influenced Peppermint.
