Difficult month

The month started out with lots of potential, as I had finished my teaching commitments and had lots of enthusiasm about the time ahead. However, we had some shit in our personal lives (damn you, real life!) and I have ended the month with what seems like Omicron symptoms. I await the PCR test to say for sure. Thankfully Bee made it to Iran to see her family last week, so she isn’t at risk from me at least.

Creatively, I have been working with Will Whiting on a couple of ideas. He did a trailer for Isra, which we have been moving on slowly (damn you, real life!) and hope to get to festivals soon. I plan to incorporate some of the filming we did last year into a wider film, which I have lots of enthusiasm for, Covid permitting (damn yo… you get the reoccurring theme.) I had some other projects that I am working on for friends and the university also, which is keeping me busy. The terrible news in Ukraine is also consuming a lot of mental energy.

In happier news, I saw the bunny rabbit in the park recently. It never fails to excite me when I see this creature living metres away from our inner city centre.
