Difficult month

It was a difficult month, partly because it was very busy, but also because it had some upsets which just complicated things. It started out well with the Bournemouth International Film Festival and a trip to Leeds for a PhD examination. I had lots of teaching too with my lovely MA Film cohort at LCC. But things got shitty (literally) when there was a blockage under our flat that created an unholy mess.

Not posting the bathroom photos online, they were really gross.

Fortunately it was dealt with pretty quickly but it was a disruption. Things are still a bit bumpy in the personal life at the moment also, as we get used to new routines. Bee usually went away in this time of year, or had family over, and neither has happened yet and the days getting shorter/colder is not our favourite thing. Hopefully we’ll get time away over the Christmas break to get light, similar to last year.

I managed to get back on track with some habits after a tricky month last month. I have started to write a new project which I am enjoying. I am 60+ ditties on the new music project also. I managed to finishing filming a short film also, which I hope to complete editing in November. So, a difficult month, but a rewarding one.
