Lurgies

An up and down month. Started out fairly positive, enjoying my new work pattern and feeling fairly creative. Some work got jiggled around at the last minute, which was a bit stressful, but been doing this for long enough not to be fazed by it. Then, last few days I’ve had miserable man flu. Was it the change in weather (more weather blogging)? The stress of jiggling stuff at work? The impending financial meltdown of my current account? Diseased students returning to university? Could be any number of these, or an element of all. I think/hope I am over the worst of it.

I’m all prepped to have a busy couple of months while Bee is away. I have shot a documentary that needs editing, written some songs that need recording, got some scripts that need editing and a book that needs to be finished. Not gonna manage it all but hope to take a chunk out of it. I hope to see some movies also; especially the ones I can’t watch with Bee because she’d get bored.

I also managed to do some harvesting and cooking this month. Maybe that is what made me sick? I doubt it. Also, a REALLY rare occurrence. I actually abandoned a movie a third of the way through. Normally I stick it out whatever the cost, and chalk it up to education. But watched Nefarious on Prime. So bad. Actors really chewing the scenery. I couldn’t tolerate it. Saw loads of positive reviews online which goes to show that there is no such thing as the wisdom of the crowd.
