More thanks, more loss.

I can’t believe I am typing this. Today we had to put Jaffa to sleep. He had struggled breathing lately, and we were expecting the ‘pug breathing difficulties’ sermon, surgery and vet bill. However, during a CT scan it emerged that it was a tumour, blocking the left airway and already spreading across the right. As he had been struggling to sleep for a few weeks (for fear of suffocating) we took the uncomfortable decision to put him out of his pain.

Losing Dad and my cousin last month, and my uncle and Jaffa this month, has meant that we’re inconsolable. Just a torrid, terrible time, relentlessly exhausting.

There’s not much more to write. I’m only doing this to pay tribute to the most wonderful friend that a person could hope for. Honestly, no one ever said anything bad about Jaffa. I will miss him immensely because of the joy he brought into our lives.

Thanks Jaffa, for the wonderful time we spent together.
