Dad died on the 13th November. He’d been unwell for a while and it was not unexpected. I’m not going to write a gushing tribute to him here as he hated blogs and social media. So I’ll leave out the bit about him and mention a little bit about my feelings about him, after all, it’s my blog. I’ve been so lucky to have such a wonderful dad but also a wonderful relationship with my dad. I’m even lucky to have had the time to say that to his face. There was nothing left unsaid and I am grateful that he died knowing that we loved him very much. Zero ambiguity. The task now is to live my own life in a way that would continue to make him proud (he was proud of me, he told me so!)

So, back to work, returning to music, Bee’s birthday, a visit from my mother-in-law Suzy. Life rattles on, with less colour than before, but still onwards. I could write more, but it all seems a bit trivial. Some things that happened rather than the thing my mind thinks about.
