Productiveness

I got lots done this month, which is satisfying. I don’t consider productiveness to be a good indicator of satisfaction in general, because I’ve had busy periods that felt terrible and deeply unsatisfying, but this month was good. Creatively, I managed to lay down some tracks for new music, work on a film idea, and finish a first draft of a book I’ve been trying to write for a while. I also managed to write an article for work, and do some professional training. I also took the challenge of beating last months prolific movie watching a step further, and saw 32 films (in 30 days) which is a personal best, which I have no intention of besting, at least until I am bed bound. I took the opportunity to watch all of the Rocky series except Creed II. Like March, I caught up on more Hitchcock. I also read loads of books, albeit lots were graphic novels, again a personal best of 15. What difference an Easter holiday makes. Bee is back this month so I won’t break these records for some time! I also had lots of small tasks to complete around the house, which were not so satisfying, but important nevertheless. My hope is for a good summer.

The weather had some great moments this month.
