Onwards, asswards.

Time still creeps at the moment. Perhaps Jaffa sped time up by keeping us entertained. Or work is gratingly slow. I am not enjoying it at the moment and looking forward to going part time even further in September. Whatever it is, it drags.

This month Bee and I travelled to a friend’s wedding in Staffordshire, I got new glasses, assessment marking started coming in. Fairly standard time. I’ve been chipping away at my hobbies lately, writing quite a bit and recording some melodies on my guitar. Movie watching has been a bit lame, but book reading has been prolific. I started some filming also, but I won’t go into it at this point for fear of jinxing it.

The music on Spotify has recently been going bananas, probably being botted rather than genuine engagement, seeing as I don’t see any crossover onto other platforms where people would usually go to Google you if you’ve just been ‘discovered’. I think I may pull my music from other distribution platforms beyond Bandcamp next year, especially if the return on investment or engagement doesn’t improve. I don’t expect to make a living out of it, but I don’t want to pay for the privilege of my music on their platform when I’m not getting anything meaningful in return.

Netflix has also been cancelled in our house. Too long with no fun. Sorry, but gotta be some content worth watching.
