I don’t actually have a bucket list, but now there’s a few things that I won’t need to add to one should I eventually write such a thing. The month started with the class of 2019 graduating and I was incredibly proud. It has been a hell of a slog developing a degree and getting it off the ground. To see the first graduates was very rewarding.
As I am no longer the programme leader for BA Film, I had a chance to take part in the Shooting From The Hip 48 Hour Film challenge. I adopted a nice new look for my role in front of the camera – my first (and probably last) experience of acting. Needless to say, we won no prizes!
Finally, towards the end of the month I had my first (and probably last) experience of DJ’ing in a nightclub. The venue was The Old Firestation and the music was all from the 90’s. Therefore it was a chance to relive my youth!
Having finished the 50 books that I wanted to get through this year, I’ve gone for one more thing on the imaginary bucket list – I’m 25% of the way through War and Peace. This has been a long term ambition of mine!
