Zipping along

February flew by for me. March is on me like an unexpected rash, completely overwhelming as I had imagined in my mind that I had plenty of time; ‘it’s next month’, then it is that month. Of course this is dumb. I am capable of reading a calendar and planning my time, but it subjectively felt fast. I think a huge part was the Berlin visit. But also a feeling that last semester bled into this semester in terms of assessment and small bits of teaching. Throw in some decorating, Valentine’s Day etc. and the month is done.

Overall, I feel a little behind with some of my personal ambitions but not defeated. I continue to have hope. So I will not shit on that here. I wrote a few blog posts this month, including the milestone of a 20th anniversary of blogging, so I can not be too hard on myself. And I had a chance to catch up with friends as well as keep up with the reading and the movie watching. March looks similarly chaotic.

A bit of the Berlin Wall
