Derry

So, I guess I should say it here. The last couple of months I’ve been shuffling paper and making phone calls to check out the possibility of another 72 project. Whilst I was in Rome with The Ballad of Des & Mo in December, I was chatting with Stephen Rea who mentioned that he’d be interested in doing a similar project in Derry as part of their City of Culture in 2013. The whole project is at a completely embryonic stage, with no dates set, no script written or anything else. But I have been successful in securing some time and funds from my wonderful university to pursue the concept and possibility further (Stephen is actually an honorary graduate at Staffordshire University, so that helped). I can say no more as there is no more to say, other than I am travelling to Derry on March 7th to get balls rolling, not in a sexual way of course. I’ll keep you posted.
