Under the influence

The idea of making these snails was inspired by a project called El Mas Santo. I was visiting my friend Benjamin Arntz in Berlin and he gave me a small Mexican wrestler to take with me to New York. I thought it was a great idea. I have always been into the weird and wacky things that you can be involved in just for the sake of it. A huge inspiration in recent years has been Ze Frank, who first came to my attention when Owen Matthews sent me a link years ago. I’m posting a video of Ze here just so I can share it with you. That is how it works; we share things and we pass recommendations with our friends. We influence one another.
