HISTORY:
Filmbase Presents was a hybrid-studio model that I created with Conor Murphy and Alan Fitzpatrick at Filmbase in Dublin. The concept was that a feature film would be made by a group of postgraduate students alongside their studies, providing an experience that industry no longer offers due to the lack of apprenticeships and the absence of a community of practice. The Filmbase Presents model ran from 2011-2018, although I was only involved for the first half of that period. I did not direct any of the Filmbase Presents projects, but I am proud to have been an executive producer upon four of them. Below are the trailers for the four that I helped to bring into the world; Keys To The City (2012), How To Be Happy (2013), Light of Day (2014) and Poison Pen (2014).
