Spring cleaning

Bee returned to Bournemouth at the start of May after 2.5 months away in Iran. It was lovely to finally have her back home. Although I’d decorated, our new carpet wasn’t laid until middle of the month. However, we are delighted with it. Now we’re having an epic spring clean as we sort through all the things that got moved as part of the decorating. It’s quite cathartic process. It has meant that my movie watching, book reading and music making have reduced. That said, I managed to get through the 10 hours of Krzysztof Kieślowski’s Dekalog series. I really enjoyed it. I also started walking more of the South Coast Path again, and hope to get along more of it this summer.

Bee and Jaffa enjoy the new carpet
