The following day we walked from Lulworth Cove to Kingston. We filmed scenes along the way in Kimmeridge and along most of the headland. Carrying the kit was really painful and a dumbass idea in retrospect, but the weather was overcast and cooler than the previous day. Google wants to add all kinds of different routes to the embed map, so I’m embedding a screengrab of what we did. In reality, we cut across the ridge of Hans Tout along a path that was indicated on the Ordnance Survey map. The last part of this walk was frankly horrible, with both of us exhausted. However, we had a lovely stay at Kingston Country Courtyard and slept well. I had to put damp towels on my head to soothe some serious sunburn that I encountered on the walk, despite there being no direct sunlight.
