I thought it would be cool to explain a little bit about what to expect on Sunday, because too much expectation and excitement is bad for your bowels. Birmingham’s Artsfest is the largest free arts festival in Europe and the whole city gets taken over for the weekend. As I live here and wish to be considered part of the creative community, I decided it would be cool to show some of the stuff that I do too. Some people have seen me play music or screen films before, but this time I’ll be doing something a little different.
I’ve spent a year studying snails. I watched snails and thought about what it can teach us about love, life and creativity. I’ve used snails as a starting point for a project that includes a little art, photography, literature, music and film. And this Sunday I want to talk about the journey and explain a little bit about why snails are the most incredible things on this planet. If you don’t believe snails are the most incredible things on the planet YOU MUST COME to be proved wrong. If you do believe that snails are the most incredible things on the planet then YOU MUST COME to celebrate our mutual understanding. If you are not sure, YOU MUST COME to make up your mind. It’s free and it is a Sunday, so there are no excuses.
