I recognise this snail! This was left in Birmingham library in the travel section back in August! 
Then, on a Sunday night in November, I get an email!

I live in Aberystwyth, Wales and for a short stint worked at the
Animalarium in Borth which is a small zoo.
While there I took a few pics of one of your snails getting a bit
molested, stabbed, chewed and other things humorous.
