What a difference a month makes. This time last month Birmingham was in the grip of a riot. This weekend it is Artsfest, one of Europe’s largest free arts festivals. I’m really excited about going to see the Guillemots this evening, one of my favourite bands. I haven’t had a chance to see much of it this year as my work has been manic. That is also why it has been quiet on the blog lately! I’ve been working on two different academic projects for Dublin and London which have been really time consuming. But I’m taking some snails to Australia this week, so they’ll be some exciting pictures for the Gastropod Atlas!
