Where’d you go?

Not much noise from the Crimson Tide or the Canary Squadron. I’m imagining these sad snails sat at the bottom of bookshelves, industrial dustbins, in the drawer where all the rubber bands, dead batteries and coffee shop loyalty cards end up. I think of their happy days being painted and decorated in my house, and then their cold abandon in the big world. I imagine all of this to the soundtrack of Graham Coxon’s song ‘Where’d you go?’, and it makes me feel sad. Can someone volunteer to write a short story about absolutely anything as long as the title is ‘Where’d you go?’. I’d be really interested to read it, and then we’ll publish it here for everyone to read – and maybe it goes into a film at a later date… wink wink…
