Picture the scene. It’s Friday. It’s been raining all day. English summer rain. I’ve been listening to Julie Delpy‘s music because my friend Vangelis sent it to me in an email this morning (if ever there was a romantic, it’s Vangelis). It’s been a difficult week. The pressure with Snaily has been hard to bear. Then, just before midnight on the eve of a bank holiday weekend that I will spend alone working on the edit of a film and preparing the Crimson Tide for Dublin, I get an email from Carl and Jen, who have found a Canary Squadron snail in Birmingham and christened him ‘Sam’. I am being sincere when I say that I was truly excited!!!! Go Sam go! Welcome to our adventure!
