The early days of any project are always quite good indicators of whether or not the interest is appearing online. It is always quite difficult to strike a balance between promoting it heavily for web traffic and getting enough content made to interest the audience that does come. Too much traffic with out enough content means people leave. Too much content without much traffic is a waste of time.
Yesterday I took my first look at the website traffic for ‘Crushing Snails’. It’s fairly healthy, and I’m happy that there is a bit more content here before the serious promotion starts. One thing I wasn’t expecting, is the unusual web traffic that were looking for something else… I had no idea that there is a snail-crushing fetish online! Wow. I love the internet. You can get really niche.
I need your help to spread the word. About this website I mean, not about the snail fetish online. If you could make it your good deed of the day to tell two people to check out the project, I would be so humbly grateful. It’s all about the small things!
